The Toronto Women's Bookstore has become one of the most reliable seller of course books in Toronto! We continue to ensure that our course book service is efficient. Our price s remain at publisher's listed prices, and we take every step to ensure maximum availability for students. We are able to service both small and large classes, and we can order books from any discipline. In the past, we have stocked well over 100 courses from various universities. We have carried books for courses ranging from five to one thousand students, from disciplines such as Anthropology, Education, English, History, Political Science, Sociology and Women Studies.

We order close to or full enrollment and rush in books if enrollment exceeds initial expectations. We place order s with publishers for desk copies for professors and teaching assistants. We also offer price and availability of books before ordering. In September, we have extended hours and extra staff. This ensures that students avoid long line-ups and are greeted by our friendly staff team. We sell used books as part of our service and we buy back books that are being used by courses listed with us at 30% of their original price. This year's buy back period is from September 4 - September 21 2007 .

The academic community has always been an important and appreciated source of support to the Toronto Women's Bookstore. The revenue that we receive from course book orders is critical to our stability and growth as an independent not-for-profit store and helps to fund book launches, workshops, and other initiatives at the store.
