Did you know that a dreaming practice could bring about revolution? We've been offered a reality defined by simultaneous systems of oppression. Purposeful dreaming invites us to empower ourselves by honouring and enacting alternatives to what we've been given. This 4-week course is for those who are interested in working with their dreams to create internal and collective change. Participants will learn how to record dreams, enrich dream content, and use the dreamtime to enhance waking life. It is open to active dreamers of all levels. In other words, if you have been collecting dreams for five years, or have never collected a dream before, and are
curious and intrigued by the possibility, you are most welcome!

** Participants will need to purchase a dream kit (a dream journal, an essential oil blend, an herb blend, crystals, a CD, and a booklet of dream charts, calendars, glossary and recommended readings) for an additional cost of $20

Week One: Dreaming on Purpose
We dream every day. We dream while we sleep, and while we are awake. This session will include:
· An introduction to dreaming (terms, theories, and practices)
· A demonstration of dream recording techniques

Week Two: Dreaming for Personal Insight
There are many ways to use dreams to enhance our relationship with our inner self. This session will include:
· Examples of how to engage with dream characters
· Exercises that will help you recognize patterns from your dreams and draw out themes
During the session, participants use these skills to work with one dream from the previous week.

Week Three: Collective Dreaming
Did you know that you can dream with other people? This session will include:
· How to create a dream with another person, or a group of people
· How to use dreams to enhance your activism: campaigns, collectives, relationships, etc..
Participants will create a dream with another member of the course, and work with one dream collected from the previous week.

Week Four: Dreams of Resistance
Our dreams change the world...literally. This session will include:
· How to work with your dreams to create alternative realities, and solutions to global challenges
We will create a collective dream, and use it to practice creating dreaming/waking action plans. Participants will also work with one dream collected from the previous week, and review the dream chart created from the previous three weeks.
