TWB ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Come to TWB for our Second Annual Customer Appreciation Day!!
BBQ and Book Sale Saturday, July 24 from 2pm to 6pm
….BBQ with FREE food: meat and veggie burgers, salads, lemonade, fresh fruit and sweet treats
….Book Sale from 2pm to 6pm. 20% off all books in the store (some exceptions apply)

Salam Hamdan
Ministry of Women's Affairs, Palestinian National Authority; visiting scholar with the Diaspora, Islam and Gender project at York University; past co-ordinator of this project in Palestine, Israel and Jerusalem; and former director of the Insan Center for Gender Studies in Al-quds University.

Hanadi Loubani
Palestinian Canadian activist, educator and writer. Research Assistant with the Diaspora, Islam and Gender Project, York University.

Sarah Karmi
Forensic anthropologist specializing in documenting human rights violations and war crimes committed against Palestinians; Co-ordinating Committee, Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights (Toronto Region).
