Women Actively Resisting
Come out to the 24th Take Back the Night

Women - Take Back the Night
Actively- Creating, Protesting, Marching
Resisting- Rape, Violence, War, Poverty

Take Back the Night is a wheelchair accessible event. ASL interpretation will be provided. Take Back the Night is a Trans Positive event. Childcare Available.

The Community Development Hub of the TRCC/MWAR is inviting you to join us in taking part in this years Take Back the Night by Spreading the word to every woman you know and March with us on October 1!!!

Sexual Assaults are very underreported to police and most women choose to deal with their assault alone. Take Back the Night represents an opportunity to make this crime against women visible, and to express our solidarity with all of our sisters who have been victimized by any form of male violence.

Women in Action Workshops 2005/06

Cancer Creative Strategies for Resistance Workshop: Our focus in this workshop is on how cancer narratives and actions can inform and creatively shift cancer prevention and treatment protocols.
OCTOBER 3, 17, 24, 31 (no class on Oct 10th)

Cost: $85.00 each

The intention, in these workshops, is to be open to what is possible, to start from our own experience and knowledge base in relation to the material presented, to strategize for action and create personally relevant spaces for ourselves or/and/in our communities.
