Teresa Chun-Wen Cheng started as the Course Books Coordinator in May 2008.
In her spare time, she can be found making zines, shopping at farmers'
markets, gardening or talking on the phone with her parents who are at home

Nwadiogo Ijeoma Ejiogu is recently hired relief staff. She is a
collective/committee member of The Centre For Women and Trans People at U of
T and the Prisoners' Justice Action Committee (PJAC). Nwadiogo is also a
first year Master's Student in the Department of Sociology and Equity
Studies in Education at OISE/UT. She loves to read anything that is loosely
centered around transnational anti-colonial struggles, prison/penal
abolition, violence against women of colour, and ways to utilize anti-racist
feminist praxis to theorize thematics of race, sexuality, class, and
disability.
Jiselle Griffith is a relief staff worker who loves being part of the TWB
Community. Outside of the bookstore you can find her lending a hand (or two)
to her Reiki and massage practice. In her spare time she can be seen reading
a textbook on a subway somewhere between TWB and the Canadian College of
Naturopathic Medicine. She's passionate about accessible holistic health
care approaches, and is only too happy to help you locate a fabulous find.
Alejandra Higuera is the new sidelines & consignment buyer at the store.
Alejandra loves to cruise life in her bike, exploring Toronto for the last
six years she's gotten to know amazing magical people and great urban art.
Art. . . it's been always in her life and in the last year she has dedicated
a chunk of her time to unlearn, create, be free and find her own path. She

Rosina Kazi, is an protest musician and is part of the band lal. She works
part-time at the bookstore and is involved with many community based
organizations & artists, in effort to bridge the gap between art and
activism.
alex macfadyen does not like putting checkmarks in boxes, but doesn't mind
telling you he's a transguy. due to spectacular irony, his role as
Operations Manager means that if it's being unpacked from boxes or packed
into boxes, it's probably his job. he also handles merchandising, so for any

Carolynn McDonald who loves books and accounting dearly, lives by the

janet romero-leiva is a queer, immigrant, latina, working class artist who
has been working and learning at twb for the past 4 years. she is currently
one of the co-managers and events co-ordinator and can often be found
reading children's books on her lunch. she loves gelato, mangos, smoothies

Corrie Sakaluk started at TWB as Co-Manager & Administrator in May 2007.
Corrie studied theatre, philosophy and student politics at York University.
As a little girl she believed that heaven was a bookstore, and so Corrie is
extraordinarily happy to be working in a community-based, independent
bookstore committed to feminism, anti-racism and social justice. Corrie
loves learning about absolutely everything and therefore has an enormous "to-be-read" list. Most recently she has been exploring topics in Marxist
theory, women and spirituality, Canadian working-class history, and Canadian

amy willis is thrilled to be a recently hired relief staff at the toronto
women's bookstore. when not at TWB, amy enjoys drinking coffee, reading,
biking, learning and unlearning. she's a sex-positive, anti-racist,
queer-identified feminist with an ever-growing 'to-read' list. amy loves TWB
and all it stands for and couldn't be happier to be part of such a wonderful
community.
